The client’s objectives and expectations
Develop a large-gauge inland waterway link between France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, integrated into the European North Sea–Mediterranean multimodal corridor. Improve connectivity between seaports and inland ports in Northern France and across Europe.

Our main responsibilities
- Promote best practices in contract management.
- Act as project management (MOE) for Sector 1 (Compiègne to Passel in the Oise department: 18 km) within the Team’O+ consortium for the Société du Canal Seine-Nord Europe.
- Analyze and understand the project as a whole.
- Review, negotiate, and manage contracts during the pre-signature and execution phases, while handling contractual variations.
- Identify and mitigate legal, operational, commercial, and financial risks.
- Propose corrective actions to the Project Director to optimise project margin and contractual performance.
- Assess and update risk management plans, in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO).
- Draft, issue, and manage notices, variations, and contractual correspondence.
- Participate in contractual discussions with the client, partners, and subcontractors.
- Ensure the project’s compliance with legal, tax, financial, and insurance requirements.
- Prepare and assess claim files.

- Scope: Sector 1, 18 km from Compiègne to Passel.
- European-scale project: link between France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
